When trading on StepMotech, please carefully read and understand the following terms and conditions, which will help protect your rights and ensure the smooth progress of the transaction.
1、Customs fees and clearance responsibilities
The tax burden for cross-border orders may vary depending on the shipping warehouse. The prices of goods shipped from warehouses in the European Union, the United States, France, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Japan already include all taxes and fees. The orders sent from the Chinese warehouse adopt the DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) mode, which means that the settlement price does not include import tariffs and other taxes. For international customers, they need to bear the customs duties and clearance fees that may be imposed by the destination customs, as well as the responsibility for import compliance.
In particular, customers from India, Türkiye, Brazil and South Africa should be reminded to ensure that they are qualified for customs clearance before placing orders. This is done to avoid the goods being detained at customs and causing unnecessary trouble for you. If the package is returned due to your refusal to pay customs fees, we will deduct the corresponding logistics costs after receiving the return, and then refund the remaining amount to you. In order to prepare your budget and expenses in advance, it is recommended that you inquire with the local customs in advance about any potential tax liabilities that may arise.
2、Order cancellation and processing flow
If you need to cancel the order, please apply to us promptly via email. However, it should be noted that order cancellation requests are only valid until the order has been handed over to the carrier. Once an order enters the logistics process, it is usually not possible to terminate it directly. In this case, the subsequent handling needs to be determined through mutual consultation between you and us. If there is a dispute due to canceling the order after shipment, we hope you can actively cooperate with the carrier to complete the return or receipt process, in order to better solve the problem and reduce unnecessary losses.
3、Handling of product quality issues
If you find any suspected defects in the product within 30 days after receiving it, please proactively contact our technical support team. We will use professional testing methods to confirm the nature of the problem, and then arrange for you to return, replace the product with a new one, or carry out repairs based on the test results. It should be emphasized that all processing plans are based on the authenticity of the detection report. If it is found through testing that the problem is caused by improper operation or human damage, you may need to bear the corresponding repair costs on your own.
4、Standard warranty service content
We provide a 3-year warranty service for our products from the date of delivery. During this year, if the product experiences performance failures, functional failures, or significant defects under normal use, it is within the scope of warranty. When your product encounters the above-mentioned issues, you need to submit a detailed problem description to us via email. After receiving it, we will conduct a review. Once we confirm that it meets the warranty conditions, you will receive solutions such as repair, component replacement, whole machine replacement, or refund.
However, it should be noted that the following situations are not covered by the warranty: first, damage caused by failure to operate according to the requirements of the product manual; The second is appearance defects that do not affect product functionality, such as scratches, dents, discoloration, etc; Thirdly, the product malfunction occurred beyond the 3-year warranty period.
5、Lifetime technical support commitment
Even if the product exceeds the standard warranty period, you don't need to worry. We promise to provide lifelong technical support services. For product issues that are not within the warranty period, we will evaluate the feasibility of repair based on the actual situation and inform you in advance of the possible material or service costs. On the premise of fully protecting your right to know, you can choose whether to accept the paid repair plan we provide, and we will do our best to help you solve product problems.
